What began as a running shoe masterpiece over four decades ago has evolved into a streetwear icon. The Cortez has long been considered a West Coast shoe, a connection that Nike highlighted with its latest campaign around the retro model.
Worked with brand designers to create seven L.A. specific retail displays for the newest version of the Cortez. Displays varied based on store location as the brand released two special California colorways, one tied to Compton and one tied to Long Beach.
The project included over 100 specially built props including custom asphalt pedestals, gold "CPT" and "LBC" lettering, LED Cortez patterned tables, hand picked flora, and much more.
ComplexCon is an expertly curated convention and festival that brings the world of Complex to life. This is our generation's World Fair.
Worked together with brand designers, creative agency and internal teams to engineer and produce seven custom sneaker drop pallets meant to showcase the Special Field Air Force 1.
Project included seven unique pallets with LED lighting, screen printed ratchet straps, foam inflated basketballs and custom pallets.
Air Max Con in NYC is a multi-day celebration of Air that brings sneaker lovers together on an epic journey through the heritage, design and innovation story of Nike Air Max.
Partnered with brand design, creative agency and event producer to engineer and fabricate three interactive tubes meant to showcase Air Max influencers and Nike powerhouses Mark Parker, Tinker Hatfield and Hiroshi Fujiwara. In addition, fabricated large scale "Masters of Air" wall.
Project included three unique tubes with mechanical infinity mirror floors, internal video and sound projection, backlit designer bios and a "selfie shelf" for lasting memories.
